Eagles Wings is a small business in Ridley Park, PA. We are rewarding and customer-centric.
Our work environment includes:
The primary function of a Caregiver is to assist the client with companionship, meal preparation, laundry and light housekeeping. The Caregiver is to provide assistance as outlined in the Client’s Service Plan. Any Caregiver questions or requests from the client that are outside of the Client’s Service Plan must be referred to your office. Specific employment policies are outlined in the Eagles Wings Employee Handbook.
Each Eagles Wings Employee WILL:
· Account for time and expenses in the manner required
· Return calls and emails in the time period required by management
· Respect Client’s property
· Be neat and appropriately dressed
· Perform all duties as outlined on the Clint Service Plan and/or as directed by Management
· Keep their Business and their personal lives separate
Service Provided by Eagles Wings at Home Caregivers:
Companionship
Provide respectful, friendly interactions, Assist with hobbies/crafts as requested by the Client. Accommodate any reading or writing activities needed or requested. Demonstrate appropriate Caregiver services when assisting in social and/or entertaining activities.
Meal Preparation
Provide assistance with the grocery shopping, meal planning and preparation as deemed appropriate in the Client’s service plan.
Light Housekeeping
Monitor home and assist client with arrangement for maintenance needs. Some examples include:
· Kitchen: Wash dishes, clean counters, sweep/vacuum floor, mop/wash floor, and take out garbage /recycling, clean refrigerator; wipe down stove/microwave etc.
· Bathroom: Clean tub, sink, toilet, wash/vacuum floor
· Living Room: Dust furniture, dust/vacuum, tidy area
· Bedrooms: Making beds, change linens, dust furniture, vacuum floors
· Laundry
Transportation
Provide transportation for errands, doctors’ appointments and any other arrangements as outlined in the Client’s Service Plan.
What we cannot do as a non-medical service
· You cannot lift or transfer a client. If a fall occurs you may not pick them up
· You may not set up medication in pill boxes or take pills our of jars to administer
· You may not provide total personal care for clients
· You many not change bandages, clean wounds or clip an nails
· Caregivers may not life more than 25 pounds
· Caregiver may not climb on any ladder, stool, etc. more than 2 feet off the ground.
